POKÉMON MARKETING DISTRIBUTIONS

Distributions are a marketing tactic that rewards people with a unique Pokémon in their Video Game after visiting a store or making a purchase online. In store, fans are handed a distribution card or leaflet that has redemption instructions on the back and throughout the stores are advertisements for this deal. On social media, Pokémon’s website and the associated stores there are also ads and redemption opportunities. About 4 to 6 distributions are run a year throughout Europe, Canada, Latin America, Australia and the United States requiring a slew of print and web assets in a lot of languages. The creative is concepted by me and meant to align with each Pokémon’s look and skillset.

POKÉMON Hobby Store Mailer

POKÉMON Hobby Store Mailer

Every year mailers are sent to Hobby stores (like Gamestop) to promote Play! leagues and TCG products. Within are some fun gifts like stickers and banners and also pamphlets explaining Play! leagues, how to run them, etc. I went with a Pop Art style instead of a more corporate look as the league is about kids having funs and I wanted to grab stores attentions.
